Secondment at HZDR in August 2018

Sandra Muñoz, an industrial PhD researcher at Nano4Energy, did a joint secondment at HZDR during almost two weeks in August 2018. She got trained in and could work with different advanced equipments at HZDR for superficial characterization, investigating optical coatings for thermosolar applications. She could take advantage of measurements with ellipsometry, Raman, RBS and UV-VIS-NIR spectroscopy. Sandra received an introduction into the experimental opportunities in magnetron sputtering chambers and moreover into the Cluster-Tool at the Ion Beam Center of the HZDR. It was an amazing experience without a doubt.
